I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and at the ripe age of six months my mom and I boarded a railway car and arrived in Long Beach, California. As a local girl I attended Lowell, Fremont, Jefferson, and Wilson High School. While attending CSULB, I travelled the world during my summer and spring breaks. The experience caused me to gain a larger perspective on life spawning a career as a tour guide. By that time I was speaking Russian, Swedish, French, Italian, and Spanish. In my early twenties I realized that living a world wind life was taking its toll on the quality of my life. After exhausting my medical choices I went to a chiropractor as a last resort. It changed my life forever.
My education in chiropractic includes a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles, 1981. I also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from CSU, Long Beach, 1972. My various certifications include: Clinical Management of Women in Childbearing Years, 1987, Pediatric Chiropractic, 1987, Holistic Healing Conference, Findhorn, Scotland, 1981, Scholarship Recipient, University of Upsala, Sweden, 1972. My experience began in 1981, as an intern, here in Long Beach, California. I became a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic in 1982, started my own practice in Bixby Knolls in 1987 and I have been a member of the American Chiropractic Association since then. In 1992 I founded Heights Chiropractic and Health Center.
